Speakers

REV. LUCIANO FELLONI

Born in Mar Del Plata, Argentina on May 28,1973. Finished Elementary and High School in Saint Luigi Orione Catholic School. Entered the seminary of the Sons of Divine Providence in January 1991.On January 1994, he was sent as a missionary to the Philippines. Finished Theological studies at Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila University. He was ordained priest on April 1, 2000.Served as Assistant Parish Priest in Payatas (2000-2001), Formator of the Sons of Divine Providence (2001-2002), Parish Priest in Payatas (2002-2005), Missionary to South Korea (2006-2007). Incardinated to the Diocese of Novaliches (2007).Parish priest of Holy Trinity Parish and social action director of the Diocese of Novaliches (2008-2013)

He is currently the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Lourdes (2013/present). Director of the Formation of Theologians of the Diocese (2015-present) Vicar Forane Our Lady of Lourdes Vicariate (2013-present).

MOTHER MARY ASSUMPTA LONG, O. P.

Mother Assumpta is the Prioress General of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She holds a S.T.L. in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, and has taught at the elementary, secondary and junior college levels.  Mother Assumpta is a former President of the Forum of Major Superiors and has served on the boards of the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars and the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. In the early 1990s she was invited by John Cardinal O’Connor to assist with the initial formation of the Sisters of Life in New York.  In 1997 she and three other Sisters founded the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist; in the intervening 19 years the Community has grown from four to over 120 Sisters with an average age of 30 years old. 

The Community currently has Sisters teaching and serving as administrators in elementary and secondary schools in Michigan and seven other states across the country, and serving at the Pontifical North American College Seminary Library in Rome. 

REV. BERNARD OLSZEWSKI, JCD

Fr. Bernard was born and raised in Trenton, NJ. He entered the community of the Conventual Franciscan Friars and studied in Ellicott, MD and at St. Hyacinth College and Seminary in  Granby, MA earning a BA in Philosophy. He received an MA in Sacred Theology at the Pontifical Faculty of St. Bonaventure and a Doctorate in Canon Law from the Pontifical Gregorian University. Fr. Bernard was ordained in July 1979 and joined the Diocese of St. George’s Grenada in the Caribbean in 2007.

In 1982, having completed his studies in Rome, he was employed at Hilbert College in Hamburg, NY as a Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies and Director of Campus Ministry. Later, he was Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and then Vice President for Academic Affairs. He served on the boards of various non-profit organizations in the Buffalo area including service as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Greater Buffalo Chapter or the American Red Cross, a member of the School Board of St. Francis High School, and a judge for the Marriage Tribunal of the Diocese of Buffalo.

REV. JAMES (JIM) WORTH

Fr. Jim was ordained to the priesthood on May 26, 2001 at the age of 36 at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart for the Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey. He holds a B.A. in Religious Studies and Music from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. He earned his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling and Theology also from Seton Hall University. He currently is pastor of St. Joseph Church in Maplewood, NJ. He is also a pastoral musician giving musical meditations where he shares his gift of singing and playing the piano in churches throughout the East Coast. He has several CDs available and a recent song he composed, “A Time For Everything,” is available on iTunes.

 

Fr. Jim loves to inspire people with his motivational preaching, singing and counseling. He loves being a priest and helping others by sharing the joy he finds in being a lover of Christ.
